"Graffiti" is a bad word associed with a lot of stereotypes like : using a spray paint the night for vandalism. And so I decided to use a painter's brush in broad daylight for this intervention. I chose a store in the center of Brussels, very busy square, policemen, traffic wardens, loads of pedestrians and cars. I worked slowly, deliberately smiling and talking to passers-by.
One man said : "This is really neat but you realise it will be tagged on tomorrow !". I also told policeman I was painting abstract volumes. They believed me until the end...
It's part of a series, experiences of painting using the technics of ESPO, CFO ( Please visit http://www.graffiti.org/espo for more of their work ).
